(Combination of Ajat Indu, Ajat Pua Kumbu, Ajat Titi, Ajat Burung Kenyalang & Ajat Lesong)

The Origin of this indigenous dance is not clearly known but it is believed to have been in existence along with the Iban tribe since the 16th Century.These dances will be perform during big function attended by guests and guest of honors invited by the Chief Community of the Dayak people. It’s a symbol of welcoming, thanksgiving, and big celebration after the Padi Harvesting season is over. In the olden days, the Pua Kumbu are selected from their design & pattern on their ranking to welcome their guest of honor. The Women dancers are specially selected to perform this dance were those who are very beautiful, talented and are very hard working.

The Ajat Lesong which is performed by male dancer symbolized the Power, Strength and Braveness of an Iban warrior in the olden days on their return from the battles.
